The Youth Entrepreneurship Outreach Officer (YEOO) at the Carrefour jeunesse emploi de Papineau (CJEP) will help you evaluate your entrepreneurial potential and your idea. The YEOO will guide you through the first steps of the entrepreneurship process and introduce you to financing and support resources available. What is more, the YEOO offer a free personalized service comprising individual meetings to clarify your needs and help you plan your approach.

Since 1937, the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce (GCC) has been a reference for business people. It has 850 members and its initiatives are focused on 5 main objectives: mentorship, networking, representation, information and training.
The mission of the GCC is to stimulate economic vitality by investing energy and efforts into the governance of its strong and united network, acting in a variety of essential sectors devoted to the growth of the community. The role of the GCC is to facilitate networking, advocate for the business community’s interests and to promote exchange initiatives in order to fully associate the members to the Outaouais economic growth.
The Collines-de-l’Outaouais CLD is a leader in local economic development on the territory of the Collines-de-l’Outaouais MRC. It offers proactive support to local entrepreneurs, communities and the elected body.
Its mission is to facilitate, promote and support economic and local growth throughout the territory through private entrepreneurship, social economy and collective entrepreneurship in a sustainable approach. The Collines-de-l’Outaouais CLD values a client oriented approach, expertise, networking and ethics.
In other word, the Collines-de-l’Outaouais CLD contributes to the development of local communities. It supports structuring initiatives that will foster economic, social and environmental benefits, and it assists communities in taking charge of their own development.
Economic Development — Gatineau CLD (ED — GCLD) participates in the establishment, consolidation and expansion of businesses in Gatineau. It provides strategic and financial support to maximize their performance and to create local jobs for the long term.
We also work actively at prospecting new investments in collaboration with a number of partners with a view to contributing to the region’s economic diversification and vitality.

Since 1981, the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau SADC has provided products and services to the community as well as to businesses.
The SADC offers technical and financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises by adapting to their reality and needs. The SADC offers loans up to $150 000 at a competitive rate.
The Stratégie jeunesse fund aims at the young adult clientele (18 to 35). This fund was established to help young people to start their own business by making it possible for them to have access to a personal loan of up to $25 000 per entrepreneur.
